The foyer leading from the original main doors of the church into the sanctuary has now been fully renovated and painted, so we really can consider our project, as first imagined before we had to trim it for lack of budget, to be complete.
This was brilliantly achieved in time for our ‘grand re-opening’ event in October last year, when we were delighted to welcome past members, ministers, guests from the Methodist organisation and others to join us in our celebration.
We now look forward to converting into reality in the year ahead some of our hopes and plans for opening up to, and better serving, the wider community in Beckenham - starting with the re-launch of Joy's Kitchen, our community cafē.
